Capitol Engineering Group served as the MEP engineer for the revitalization of the Wonder Bread Building in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. This transformative project expanded the historic two- and three-story structures, originally 74,000 square feet, into a modern 140,000-square-foot mixed-use facility. The ground floor is designated for retail and parking, while the upper four floors house office spaces.

The design included high-efficiency HVAC systems, energy-saving electrical layouts, and sustainable plumbing systems to achieve LEED certification. Capitol Engineering Group's innovative solutions supported the integration of modern amenities while preserving the character of this historic site, creating a sustainable, vibrant space for businesses and visitors.
