Capitol Engineering Group provided MEP engineering for Washington, D.C.'s Union Station, a historic transit hub serving Amtrak, MARC, VRE, and Metro systems.

Union Station, opened in 1908, stands as a grand ceremonial train station and the symbolic gateway to Washington, D.C. As one of the most iconic and visited landmarks in the city, it welcomes over 32 million visitors annually. The station is a transportation hub, served by Amtrak, MARC, and VRE commuter railroads, as well as the Washington Metro's buses and subway system. It also houses Amtrak's headquarters.
Capitol Engineering Group provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering services for various projects within this historic and heavily trafficked facility, ensuring infrastructure updates align with its architectural grandeur and operational demands.
