Capitol Engineering Group provided MEP engineering design for the 12,000 SF Farmers & Distillers restaurant located at 600 Massachusetts Avenue, Washington, D.C., which opened in November 2016. Known for its commitment to sustainability, Farmers & Distillers is part of the Farmers Restaurant Group (FRG), a collection of restaurants in the D.C. area. The restaurant integrates high-level sustainability practices without compromising on profitability. Capitol Engineering Group’s work involved optimizing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to meet the restaurant's energy-efficient and eco-friendly goals, while ensuring a high-performance dining experience.
