Capitol Engineering Group served as the MEP engineer for the Benning Road Mixed-Use Project, a comprehensive development featuring 127,000 square feet of office space, 15,500 square feet of street-level retail, and 62,000 square feet of residential units. The project incorporates a 140,000-square-foot parking garage with 250 spaces across four levels, cleverly utilizing the site’s sloping grade for seamless access to parking and loading.

The design features energy-efficient HVAC systems, advanced electrical layouts, and water-saving plumbing fixtures. A green roof terrace on the residential block enhances sustainability, while the landscaped garden plaza separates the commercial and residential spaces, fostering a sense of community.
